Professional Goals

I’m excited to bring my background in education, graphic design, and project management to bear on my instructional design career. Helping other people develop their skills and talents has long been something that I am both well-equipped to do and get personal enjoyment from doing. I envision getting the opportunity to do that working at a company where I would develop either employee or customer learning experiences, or both.

Ideally, I’d also use my penchant for collaboration to be a contributing member of a small but mighty team, where I’d be happy to wear multiple hats and pitch in wherever needed. I love a good tool and embrace every opportunity to learn, implement, or evangelize new technology. My personal philosophy is using the right tool for the right job and if you don’t have the tool you need, you get creative with the one in hand.

Long-term, I have a dream… of creating compliance training that is focused on being engaging and interesting for the learner in addition to being easy to track and manage for the company.
